You two are the most gracious and thoughtful hosts and just the most kind people, your joy at having guests and being around loved ones is contagious.

I would put a saucer under the candle to protect surface. Also my nanny used to turn the teacups upside down so no dust got in. The room is beautiful.

How special your guests will feel. Some people would just put clean linens on the bed and run a duster around but you and Phillip have really thought of everything your guests will need or want and then gone high above that to create a special Christmas room for just them to wake up to and go to bed at night. I love it!

This room is the picture of Christmas Comfort Chic sure to please the most discerning clientele, or as the case may be favorite family members. Well done you. So beautiful. I must admit as one whose been overwhelmed for a long periods of time in the past non-essential chores, new items, relocated items, and in my case tools pile up, it's a joy to see Stephanie and all those supporting her finally reach a point where they are getting caught up with the mountain of "non-essential" chores enough to steal time for an afternoon "extreme organizing DIY at the château". Organization is often a crucial task which suffers under the weight of everything else that needs urgent doing. And as always seems to be the case once one is organized, one realizes they function and feel a thousand times better after everything is in order. But......as most of us can attest, that organization has a tendency to be neglected when the work load becomes overwhelming again. Oh how our memories have the ever functioning selective programming. If only we could recall just how happy and efficient we were after we became organized. 😄. Stephanie and Philip effortlessly plucking exactly what the room required was a brilliant sight. Lastly, a huge thank you to Stephanie and Philip for spending many hours each day to bless us with these fun advent videos. I remember the extreme difficulty getting these out the last two years due to bandwidth issues prior to Ian 2.0 boosting reception and upload/download speeds. Few possess Stephanies patience and extreme dedication. Once she commits, she give it her all. Cheers!

How exciting to decorate each room with a tree and ornaments to match. I had a large house and the family room was done in traditional Christmas colours with a fireplace and the formal living room was done in hues of pale blue ,pink, silver white and clear glas ornaments with glittery white poinsettias with pearl centers. the tree was a blue spruce.

I LOVE the fact that you love your family so much. It was so incredibly sweet and thoughtful of you and Phillip to place special things in the room that would make your aunt and uncle feel welcomed and loved! I really like doing things like that and you have given me some great ideas! Phillip, what a lovely idea you had to place the shades on the sconces. For example, the lovely colour-coordinated cushions, the books on the bedside table, the GORGEOUS dish of candies and chocolates, the vase for flowers, the notebook.
