We have one of those carts and love it. It gets used for laundry trips, groceries. Trash removal, and bringing things to the beach. Not sturdy enough for hauling large amounts of water or fuel. Nice to have you back on the boat.

My wife and I were driving to Daytona during that last storm - we got ahead of it in Maine luckily and only had 40 min of winter driving. Glad to see you guys are back on the YT. Cheers from frigid PEI Canada (wish I was back in Daytona), Bryan

Great to see you guys continuing to follow your dream. I just finished my 9mo solo sailing excursion from Lake Erie to the Bahamas and back to Florida. It was because of your original story that I decided to step outside my comfort zone and do it. Now that I'm back and have finished my race, it is wonderful to see you guys doing well. The both of you changed my life and I'll never forget it! Put a shout out to ya'll in my Finale video.

The power station seems neat , but test the amps it used You might find its hungry and better to just have USB sockets remember you live on amps not volts , you take them out you put them back to survive , why I ask most of these things have transformers in them wich need powering up to work some need 5 amps to deliver little amps to the appliance just check it , all good and good luck this time guys , every fitting through your hull , monitor them and you will be safe go fo it guys

Additional boat equipment for you? I'd recommend a collection of bungs.
@xcalabers6 жыл бұрын
Why did you decided to go with the G500 instead of just install a normal inverter in your boat? I can see the advantage of the G500 if your traveling without the boat as a home-base but with the boat's house battery bank being so much larger than the G500 I'd think you'd gain a lot of usability with a normal inverter.
@nomansland1206 жыл бұрын
I guess simply because they got it for free. An additional 70Ah AGM battery (840w) to the housebank would make a lot more sense and is just a quarter of the price + not taking up the same kind of space as the G500 is going to.
@TheUglyGnome6 жыл бұрын
Oh. It's only 4 times the price of AGM battery. I thought it must be at least 10 times, since it's an Indiegogo project. Hey! We're getting there slowly. Maybe in 10 years or so we might even see economically feasible Indiegogogo/Kickstarter/whatever projects.
@jrock8366 жыл бұрын
I was going to mention something similar.. If one has access to the house bank of batteries and onboard inverter, there would be little use for this. But then again they got it for free, so it will be a fun toy to play around with, but probably not real practical..
@jacknimble16 жыл бұрын
I have a similar brand unit and it worked great for a few years but when the Batteries inside died it became useless because the replacement batteries were so expensive. Stick with an inverter and a bank of deep cycles.
