Preparing turkey feathers for fletching

Traditional 2 feather fletched arrows are my go-to for hunting and target, and I have developed a method I feel works best for me. after sorting, they are matched and cut, split, and then the quill sanded smooth. after the shaft is scored to better adhere to glue, the feathers are sinew wrapped on and secured using glue. many people still use this method of fletching today! like many of our traditions, they are not a "lost art" within some native communities presently.
