My dog also has these seizures and I didn't knew it hurt. Are there any prevention methods that you use? Also I know human seizures are differ then that of dogs but I'm willing to try
@firebladetenn66333 ай бұрын
@@SitaKumari-s4e I dunno if there is medicine for dogs. But perhaps ask a vet what kind of diet he could have that may make it better. Some foods can actually make things a little easier for seizures to happen even in humans. Some make it less likely. Plenty of sleep and be careful about overheating or dehydration as a must for humans so perhaps for dogs too. If he hasn’t been neutered yet then you may want to change that. It will help lower the chance of seizures for animals. But you might wanna ask a vet before you try any of this. Everyone, even dogs, are all different.

Epilepsy ABOUT EPILEPSY You may be asking yourself what is epilepsy? Well to answer epilepsy is a brain disease that affects the brain. It can have a whole body physical event. WHAT SEIZURES ARE I’m going to talk about seizures but some of you may not know what a seizure is. A seizure is Uncontrolled jerking, loss of consciousness, blank stares, or other symptoms caused by abnormal electrical activity in the brain. WHAT HAPPENS Epilepsy gives seizures which can sometimes cause shaking or loss of consciousness you may even stay awake but you might forget stuff about you yourself and your life even you could just have a blank stare WHY DOES EPILEPSY HAPPEN Epilepsy is a excessive and abnormal amount of brain cell activity. One person can have lots of triggers here are some triggers for seizures * flashing lights * sleep deprivation * stress * blood sugar * illness * hormones * high caffeine * some foods AGE Epilepsy can be diagnosed at any age you can be diagnosed with it when you just born you can also get diagnosed at 90 it can be any age HOW TO SLOW DOWN SEIZURES Lots of people with epilepsy take medication to slow down seizures some may have surgeries but those don’t stop it 100% of the time. There are seizures called breakthrough seizures that happen even after taking medication most of the time breakthrough seizures are because of hormone changes or growing because your body is changing and may need a higher dose of medication. STOPING A SEIZURE WHILE HAPPENING There is a thing called a nasal spray which stop seizures within minutes LAST If you ever see someone shaking having a seizure don’t try to give them drinks or food what to do is lay them on these side so they don’t choke on there saliva make sure if the seizure is more than five minutes contact emergency services if a seizure goes longer then five minutes it can cause permanent brain damage. Thanks for being respectful listeners and I hope this educated you about seizures

Thank you for this video. I have a friend + a cousin who has epileptic seizures. Please can you also make a video showing what we can do to help a person during these various seizures .... perhaps get them to calm down. I heard something about putting a key in their hands or horizontally between their lips /teeth to prevent them from biting their tongue off. Is this true ¿? My friend takes epilepsy meds but he still has attacks if over thinking or because of stress. I told him that strobe /flashing lights can also trigger a seizure therefore he must put his LED lights off on his ceiling and he must not watch tv or movies with a flashing picture or lights

"OMG HES HAVING A ABSENCES SEIZURE!! HELP HIM!!" Me blinking so i can get that stupid dust particle off:
@kathrynculbertson9721Ай бұрын
The beginning of this video is mine. My eyes blink like crazy and my eyeball movement is all over the place. I am fully aware and can talk through it, but as I say to my family and my neurologist "I can't control my eyes" Specifically visually what I see during that timeframe is movement that rhythmically goes from top to bottom like window blinds, but constant movement top to bottom. So hard to explain. Every time I've had an EEG it shows I'm having a seizure, but until this new visual started happening, I just did not believe it. He showed me the EEG this past week. He initially diagnosed me with complex partial seizures, but I just didn't know why because my family wasn't realizing that I was having any type of seizure . This visual type is fairly new . I made a video to show my doctor. What happens . Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I don’t know exactly what it is and doctors haven’t been able to understand what it is but it’s definitely something. The seazures were more prominent when I was a child but now they come in waves, sometimes I can go a year without any, sometimes I get several a day and then I either faint or get a nose bleed from it.
