The dryer pipe is the inlet to the turbo. Charge pipe looks to be all metal and silicon couplers.

First time I ever disagree with Kyle I think; some Mustangs sound bad yes but many have the sexiest exhaust notes ever. LSx setups are more well rounded being classic pushrod engines but the sound of an 03-04 4v Termi or the 5.2 Flat plane GT350R with the right exhaust combo is absolutely sexy. Terminators with longtubes and Corsa or Bassani exhausts and the new Kooks Competition full system on a GT350 are some of the most musical exhausts I've ever heard from a domestic.

Fellas, I have a question PLEEZ?? I've been a fan of drag racing since I was 15, considering I was born in '47 would be 56 years. I raced Super Gas/Pro Gas in the 80's, before we had delay box's and any of the fancy goodies seen now days. Was just now watching that red Mustang stage at 4:10 and at 4:17 we see the crew member do something I've wondered about for a long time, perhaps others have as well but didn't want to sound stupid by asking - - what did he switch at the back of the car? Is he turning on the data recorder, or ? An old guy with an inquisitive mind wants to know. Thanks for your help :-)

Turning on the intercooler or a secondary fuel pump to keep it fed on the big end, it's tough to say without actually seeing the setup. You could be right also about a data recorder, but pretty sure these days everything is done on a laptop.
