Thank you for your videos I have been canning for over 50 years but I still find things to make life easier from you. At 73 I need all the help I can get.

I buy my Keystone meats from Walmart when I get my SS check I add several different cans to my order every month . When your videos come on I always have a pen and paper. You have so many great ideas. ❤️

Yelp, I've been getting my pen and paper ready to and I've been putting the date on it because there's one. I've been trying to find. I haven't found yet. That I just love it when she does these. And then I write where she got them anyway I have a great day

I'm not an 'zombie, world ending, apocalypse ' kinda prepper but more of a weather disaster , grid failure prepper. I still find most of your content extremely useful for being prepared. I just started individual full meal bags. LOVE THAT IDEA. Since I am getting into canning I am interested in the meals in a jar kinda stuff. We've lost power for 2-4 days twice in the past couple months and luckily we had zero problems with meals or meal prep. We didn't eat out even once. Not that we could have being our entire city had no power but still it was easy to make some simple meals and learned you can cook a frozen pizza in our grill! We put it on a pizza pan and put it in for 10 min and it was better than delivery...and I don't like frozen pizza at all! I restocked our pantry last week and found some great deals so we are back to where we should be. I got 5gal gama lid food pail for dog food a few years ago and loved it but have never found it affordable anywhere since so I finally broke down and ordered a few lids, got 5 gl buckets (3 for $12 online) and bought thick 5 gallon bags for brines to line the bucket. I don't open my packages for the most part. But I freeze most dry goods then pull them out let them sit and dry out well and then put the whole package in a bucket. I have bags of flour and sugar and pasta and rice. It's easy to go overboard. I don't buy anything we don't eat now.... except a few bags of bear creek soup and some freeze dried fruits. Having a pantry full of things we won't eat or won't like is a waste.

I will buy one of something if it looks good and/or is on sale If I like it, I try to go back and pick up 1 or 2 more. If I don't, I'll jot down the name so I'll remember not to buy it again.

Thank you for posting the link for the ground beef at Walmart. I haven't beenable to find it anywhere, especially at the proce your link gave me. I just ordered a case of the ground beef and the 4 pk of the turkey. I had the pork, chicken and beef in my pantry already. Again, Thank you so much.

That grain mill is only 1.2Kw, so your big solar generator should be able to power it. So ideal for a power out situation 🙂 Might be worthy of a video ?

I have one of those accordion lanterns. They are a good source of light especially if you have pets or kids nearby. It does tend to deflate on itself sometimes but I just reach over and readjust it as needed.

Here's a pet tip. Idk about cats, so do your research. I give my dog melatonin when storms, fireworks, hunters, etc. are coming. Dog melatonin treats are pricey. Did some research, went to Walmart. Got a big bottle for about $10 of the melatonin gummy chews. He loves them, and they really help him stay calm or even sleep through the noise. Again, check with your vet or do your research for your dog.

⛱️ I was wondering 🤔 ... would you feel comfortable putting the prices of the items that you show so that we could compare local (if available) prices?
@crystalmichaud37162 ай бұрын
It's hard to put prices in a video as prices always change. Plus it's different state to state and you'll have to add sales tax to it where you live.
