Happy Thanksgiving!! 🦃 say a prayer for me this year; this is the 1st Thanksgiving in probably over 40 years that I won’t be doing all the cooking! My husband ordered dinner from Reasor’s. I have had 3 eye surgeries in the last 3 months and I still have 1 more to go in December. Looking forward to 2025! Watching your shows has really been encouraging the last few months!

I just finished cooking my turkey breast in the Reynolds oven bag. It came out beautiful. I like to cook it Wednesday, so it cools and slices beautifully. Too bad you can't smell it! My dog is walking around with her nose up, sniffing the air. Smells like Thanksgiving!!! Enjoy the day. 🦃🍁🥧🙏

Our son is a trucker so he is on the road alot. Tomorrow its just the hubby and I. We are having his barbecue ribs.

My precious mother in law always made her famous chicken n dumplings she made the big fluffy dumplings they would melt in your mouth . That is what everyone lined up for first my youngest son who is now 31yrs old with a family of his own she would always get a bowl out and save it for him to bring home . She went home to be with the Lord two yrs ago she was such a wonderful person who loved the Lord and her huge family and friends. She would always end the gathering her sitting at her piano singing Gospel songs and someone leading us all in prayers 🙏🏼. We haven't had a gathering of all of us since she passed sadly she was the glue that held the family together. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and a blessed Christmas 🎄 I have seen several creators on here showing how to cook a holiday meal for one or two people just type in meals for one or two they looked very good and easy if you would be interested in something like that for Christmas 🙏🏼🕊️🙏🏼💛

A very Happy Thanksgiving to you two and your family!! I would rather perk my coffee than ise a coffee maker!! I am looking for a good percolator. Was using my camping percolator but need one for the house! You get the Real flavor of the coffee on a percolator! Thats how my mom made her coffee and I like it best! My family moved away to Texas in October so no family to have this year. So going out to dinner with friends as she isnt able to cook anymore, sadly. So an easy day tomorrow! And we are going to watch the eagles on the lake afterwards!! Love seeing all of them each winter!! My first year of not cooking for Thanksgiving at 69! Will be interesting!❤

My mom had one of those glass percolators. Maybe it was made by Pyrex?, not sure. As a kid, it was fun to watch the coffee bubble into the metal percolator.

Happy Thanksgiving to the entire Brown family! Praise the Lord for healing little Bo! I have wondered how he's doing. Ms Lori, I sure enjoyed watching you prep for the holiday. It did my heart good to hear that you're using paper plates. When hubby and I moved into our little retirement home, I gave away all my holiday plates and told the kids things were gonna be a little different. We use disposable dinnerware and I use quite a few disposable baking pans. It makes clean up so much quicker and easier. Your cabin is just beautiful--so homey. You and your family will have a special Thanksgiving. Thanks for supporting all of us cancer survivors--it means a lot to me and I'm sure to all the other viewers who have been affected by cancer. May God continue to bless you and speak through you. Love to the Browns!

I've never been as anxious about making Thanksgiving dinner as I have this year. I'm really ashamed of myself! We won't be having ours until Saturday, and I am still cleaning! I love your cozy kithchen. I prepped and refrigerated this year. All I have to do today is mashed potatoes, gravy and two small turkeys. I did two new, unconventional dishes. Chipotle pepper jack twice baked sweet potatoes and sausage and saurkraut casserole. They both turned out really good! I wish you and your family a blessed and peaceful day today. We buried my husband on Monday after a long battle with cancer. Finally, he is at peace and it will a season of firsts without my best friend. Please keep us in your prayers.
