I am 45, have no kids, am not ND, and have no issues cleaning, but I love your videos so much. I put them on when I’m stressed or overwhelmed, and it feels like a hug and a cup of cocoa. I could listen to you talk about anything for hours, and sometimes I do. I know making content can be so much to juggle with a family and a job, but your efforts really make a difference in the lives of people you’ll probably never meet. ❤❤❤

Thats it for me. The no rush mornings of not having to deal with the school run. No packlunches and water bottles to make up for them. No pressure to get uniform clean for next day. Just brilliant. Hope you have enjoyed the 1st week. I manged to get my daughter room decorated while she was at camp with the guides. She is so happy with it. And I'm proud of myself for finally getting it done.

Remi, I love the screen free/screen limited Summer holiday idea. You're so right about this being a time for making memories as a family. I'm old enough to remember childhood before cell phones/tablets/video gaming systems were a thing. Summers were the best because we played outside from dawn til dusk, or if it was bad weather we built blanket tents, or played with dolls and toys and made entire worlds in our imagination. I also did a lot of reading and drawing because those were the things I loved. Summers were the best. ❤
@remiclog
@remiclog Ай бұрын
I also remember screen free summers (aside from the odd movie of course) but I did the same. Just played outside, made potions with mud and leaves, made up silly games with my cousins, and LOTS of drawing. The best times ☺️

Remi, my youngest son and daughter in law do screen free/limited with my grandkids, and it seems to help with their attitudes and such. The grandkids are even Ok with it after the initial "detox" of it. They make them read, play games, watch family movies together, play outside, and such. I love your videos! I hope all of you enjoy your summer break! ❤😊

Remi!! I don’t really know how to word this, but I honestly feel so proud of you! Just so impressed with you, and so pleased for you. Despite all your challenges and the way your brain can work against you with regards to “being a tidy person” I can see before my eyes the huge progress you’ve made in turning things around for yourself and your family. The hard work you’ve put into yourself, the way you mentor yourself, understand yourself and keep making steps to work with and not against yourself, to grow those skills of being able to maintain a home, is honestly paying off so much. Your home is sparkling, and compared to when I first started watching your videos I can really see your home doesn’t seem to get the way it did before. I know you will have “set backs” of course, but truly your home and garden is looking beautiful and your ability to keep on top of it is honestly really growing. I wish I had the words the properly describe what I feel like I can see. But yeah I just think you’re doing an incredible job and you’re a real inspiration to me. Props to you. (I just had my fourth baby and feel like I’m on a downward spiral in terms of keeping on top of it all but your videos give me lots of help and lots of hope!) Can’t thank you enough for your honesty, vulnerability, humility, wisdom and insight. ❤❤❤

Your mum's sweet peas are just beautiful. And you did a beautiful job on those stains. I hated the school run. I had two boys, and each went to a different school, and one was 10 miles from our house. The one that was supposed to be left off first was always late (could not get up in time; we tried everything, poor soul), and so the second one was always late as well, which I heard about from all involved. Summer was wonderful; I was so glad. Thanks for posting, as always.

I use the same sponge you use to clean my dishes. Before I throw them away I use them to remove dog and cat hair from furniture or pet beds. I am always amazed how well it works especially when the sponge is damp. Give it a go.. you're going to throw it away anyways. BTW potatoes last forever in the frig and onions kept in the frig seldom make me cry.

Oh, Remi. You have no idea how much I needed a video from you today. I'm usually on top of things ( used to be obsessive cleaner). This last week every has gone wrong, spent most of the week crying about how can I even afford some school clothes and supplies this month. I haven't even done laundry or dishes and feel so bad about it. I'm a homebound person and wish I could give my son more. Oh no! Do you have anyone that can help? I know there’s churches and local organizations that may be able to help. You can even call the school and they may know some programs where they can pick the child up to get clothes or they can drop supplies off. I live all the way across the states in California, and I so wish I could help you. My kids aren’t really getting new clothes right now for school, and they’re both using their same backpacks as last year. I’ve found that Walmart and Target are having sales on school supplies, and I’ve found ordering clothes for my kids from SHEIN and Temu help with my budget as well. Don’t worry momma, there’s help out there and you’re supported by lots of us moms! ❤

My tip for dog beds is to wrap them in a sheet, and then put a fitted crib mattress sheet over it to keep the other sheet in place. Keeps all the grime off the bed and you can just launder the sheets as needed. You can do the same with cat beds and small dog beds by just putting them in pillow shams or pillow cases. Reduces the need to wash the actual bed, which preserves the bed, as well as cuts down on wear and tear on your laundry machines 🩷

One thing about your plant.. she needs light and wayyyyyy more water than you gave her. Like enough water to come out of the drain hole.. and the ability to dry out completely between waterings. maybe a window/grow light/outside. If you choose the outside, bring her in during cold and rainy days :) she’ll start growing in no time Love you and your channel!!!

Hi Remi, I just found your channel this week! I'm an American, but my mum is English. I lived in England when I was young, though. We have a farm and I garden and raise and process most of our meat. You said your mum wants to start a channel. I've done a few videos of my own. Mostly for friends and family. People like to know how to grow food. It would be neat to see what she grows over there. It may be different than here, or from other countries. She can give monthly tours so people can see how it changes over time. Fresh cut flowers for the table and even a harvest day. She can even use what she harvests to make a meal. I watch a lot of channels about gardening/homesteading because that's my passion as well. I hope she starts so I can watch too. I love how down to earth you are and I hate house work. I'd much rather be outside or doing ANYTHING else. Hope this helps. I've never commented on a video before. Feels weird for me.

I follow a lady gardener here in US and have learned so much, she mixes her potting soil (which she uses in her vegetable garden where seeds go) mixing potting dirt, well dried manure and some fertilizer in a 50 gallon outdoor trash bin keeps it covered for use all year as needed, she uses old cleaned grill grate over another bin when potting so dirt falls into smaller bin to be put back in large container. Which seeds she buys & how they come up flowers, veggies etc just showing the things that she has learned for a good garden/harvest. Hope maybe this gives your Mom some ideas, also repotting , pruning plants, dividing or growing from cuttings

I always told myself when my kids were little, when my house got messy, that as long as it's clean under the mess that's what mattered and I have to say your house has come leaps and bounds ahead of where you started and I have much more information about why this may be happening and not just thinking well that person is lazy, that there may be a story behind it....❤

Hi Remi...try to put the plant pot by the window for a few hours every week. Succulents need some sun to grow taller. Don't over water..it looks very healthy and I am sure you can make it grow taller. ❤

I absolutely love your videos I've watched pretty much all of them and rewatch them sometimes, it helps to motivate me to clean but it also makes me think about what I could do with the space I have, such as reorganization of the kitchen and my bedroom You are a fantastic mom to your two sons and a fantastic partner to Charlie so don't let anyone say otherwise, yes it's important to have a clean house but not if it stops you spending precious time with your family we are only on this planet one time make the most of it while you can Although this is a cleaning channel as you have said in other videos you want to show what you do aswell so maybe a vlog here and there would be a good upload on here if that's something you would consider doing, even if it's something simple as a day out with the kids Keep up the amazing work and know your loved and respected by many people who watch your videos

I like watching people showing how to grow plants in an apartment whether it is flowers or vegetables or hot peppers. Whether it is from scraps at home or fresh. My mom use to do it but I never thought she wouldn't be here one day so I never asked. However if your mom does do videos let me know her channel so I can subscribe like I did with you. You make me very relaxed to watch you an not get aggravated to do housework especially with kids and a husband

Always enjoy your content 😊. You're like a breath of fresh air. I hope you and Charlie and the boys enjoy every moment of the Summer break from school. Making memories with the family during holidays are the best and the pleasure of the memories last long afterwards. Your garden looks really nice out there. Such a great space for you all to enjoy including the view from your kitchen window 🪟. As artistic as you are, you could probably paint some little flowers or just whatever would make you happy looking at it on that new bigger pot. Just a thought. Sometimes just adding some different color polkadots makes something more cheerful. 😊❤

I'm about to move into my very own flat, and I have a lot of cleaning to do, where I currently live (so I get my bond back 😮‍💨) and at the new place, cause it's been empty for months. You can bet I'll have all your videos just playing in the background, on a loop 😄 And for your mum, I'd love to hear about what she grows, when, what plants grow well together, which ones don't, or what she does to keep hers healthy... I'll only have a tiny balcony, so I won't have the space to grow as much as she probably does, but I love gardening videos.

I am sure you and your viewers will be disgusted to hear this, but I found maggots at the back of my toaster, on the worktop, grose! Which has made me clean all the surface with Dettol, and made me start to clear my tiny kitchen! My dishwasher broke about 3 months ago now, and due to my low mood, I had let things pile up in the kitchen. Taught me a lesson, that I need to keep on top of things. So I played your latest video whilst I cleaned, and it kept me going, thank you, as you really are a whirling dervish, and an inspiration to us all. Blessings to you from Jilly & Madge, from a hot and sunny West Devon. xxx
