I love the couch against the wall and recliners where you have them. I agree with a gap between the recliners and maybe adding a slender table between them.

I like how you placed the couch against the wall with the floor lamp. I think you mention a larger area rug by turn it the length of the couch. In my opinion, I think tiling around the window would make it complete ( i.e. leave the curtains down). You have such a beautiful set of windows and view. You’re doing a great job decorating. Love the milk can by the front door!!! I think it looks just fine all black with the stencil print, just as it is. I'd split the 2 recliners and make the access to the livingroom in the middle, put the recliners at an angle on each side that would flank both sides of the livingroom (that would be where your new beams would flank the livingroom) it would still create the divide and yet give you central access to the livingroom. Can' t wait to see your tree and the rest all decorated up! I too love the look of the peppermint with a splash of gingerbread added. So glad you are feeling a bit better and understanding that your Grands are looking down with pride with your ability to "go on" knowing that they are always with you! Hugs!

The couch looks really good on the wall and that’s a great idea to have the lights on each side of the door. Also if a small bench would fit below the coat and key hangers the shoe basket could go under the bench just ideas honey, cause your ideas are great anyway. Love your family and you sweetheart! Yes the basket on the lampstand looks very good right there, it goes with the steer picture nicely. I'm liking your idea about the pendant lights mirroring either side of the door, good concept! What about investing in one of those real skinny shoe cabinets? That way everyones shoes stay nice and easy to spot. And decorative items can be placed on top! While watching the video, I just remembered what I meant to tell you yesterday. I got this idea from another KZbinr and I thought it was awesome. But they placed a skinny quilt rack in between the chairs and put blankets on it. I’m on the lookout to thrift one now. I thought that was an amazing idea. I had never thought of that before. I really like your couch and your chairs placed that way.

The milk can looks perfect as is. I wouldn't sponge it, would make it too busy. Love the idea of the lights in the entry way,. I would move the milk can to the other side of the door and put the basket for the shoes on the side where the milk can is now. That way you're not looking at the basket of shoes as soon as you walk in the door. Love all the changes you've made. I like the idea of the lamp next to the couch. As to your shoe storage, you might want to look at a shoe cabinet. Walmart has a bunch listed. It’s a much cleaner look than a basket overflowing with shoes. Can’t wait to see how you decorate for Christmas.

I love having light by your front door and when you moved the lamp I thought about putting the lights on either side of the door. And well of course you thought of it. The pendant lights are going to look so good and cozy. I think the idea for the can will make it look rustic which will go very well with your decor in that area. Hiya Courtney. It's funny watching you taking Halloween decor down on Halloween. It was 80 degrees here today, I'm so tired of waiting for real fall weather to finally arrive. We had plenty of trick or treaters, but the town also had an 8pm curfew, which was great. I will take my Halloween stuff down tomorrow, but leave the fall, and add some Thanksgiving stuff in. We won't take that down til the day after Thanksgiving, then up goes the Christmas decs, which takes 2 days, 1 day for inside, 1 day for outside. They stay up til around January 5th, then they come down, and up goes winter decs, lol. Anywayyyy, I would leave the couch where it was, cause it's facing the tv, and you can snuggle up closer when you're watching something. I love the pot by the door, you have great ideas for it 👌. Taking the backsplash up the wall, and around the window in the kitchen is an excellent idea ❤. I wouldn't cover that window, It's like a tv screen into the seasons. I mean, just stand back, and look at it now, it looks gorgeous with the leaves changing color, and imagine if it snows, it will be like washing dishes with a winter wonderland view ❤. I think that space on the wall just a bit further back from the front door is where the new Santa pic is going to hang 😜. Whatever you do, I know it will be beautiful 🥰. BTW, thank you! the wall hanging for over the bed arrived today from Amazon. I can't put it up yet, cause I can't find a darn headboard 😢. I hope I find one soon, Im dying to hang that picture, lol. Im loving the new adjustable bed ❤. Love you guys ❤❤❤❤❤. P.S I just read all the comments comments saying the couch looks better on the wall, but I want you two to snuggle with a blankie, facing the tv when this stupid weather finally turns cooler 😂😂.

I do like to divide in the living room. With either the chairs there or the sofa depending on which ones you all set in. You're sitting in the recliners that's good you don't have to turn your neck. I like my seat in front of the TV so I don't have to twist my body to watch. LOL either way looks good just so there's a divided in the living room.

Courtney i knew the couch would look good bk on that wall & 2 recliners where u put them now & that lamp is perfect their can't wait for the tree by window in frontroom like u said but i have to suggest something in kitchen that wood valance above ur beautiful huge window above sink is driving my OCD bonkers u should remove that & like u say get more of those peel & stick tiles & put above ur window & on each sides u don't need that wood valance that connects ur cabinets at top it takes away from ur pretty huge window its very distracting well its just an idea up to u. That could be a whole video mini project 😁
