I remember this wonderful channel called odd telling everyone to watch an unknown channel called yaba. The first time watching you guy's cutting off and ripping off large chunks of your hull until every piece was removed. I thought to myself, I couldn't imagine the day you and your amazing team would ever finish and splash your boat again. Congratulations and thank you for sharing your long and very tough journey with all of us.

Thanks! Love the seafoam green accent stripe on the top of the cabin. The best thing about using that crib is that it goes slower so you can access the parts that were unavailable for paint or anti-fowling rather than a last minute dash at the water If they were using one of those boat lifters to haul you out and move around the yard.

Hard to believe it has been 3 1/2 years since I found your channel by a referral from Roberta and Duca. I remember you bought Yaba as she was sinking. You were worried the hull may have been so rotted by ship worm infestation that it may have broken apart when you lifted her out of the water. Look at her now. Yaba is practically a new boat. Have you calculated roughly how much of the original ship remains? Good luck splashing.

The blue anti-foul looks really nice. Before you painted it on, I was already very impressed with the combination of the bronze below the waterline, the white topsides and the natural wood for contrast. I think that just demonstrates that a boat like Yaba is going to look spectacular regardless of colour scheme.

Your Yabà episodes have been going on for over 3 years? How time flies while watching interesting things. Now you are professional shipbuilders, and you also know your boat inside and out. Very few people have such experience and can tell great stories about reconstruction on their journey. I'm sure we'll see completely different Yabà series on KZbin in the future, and I'm looking forward to it. How about the ship's watering with the pretty Brazilian cheerleaders in the background - just for the older members of the audience?
