I was nearly 60 before I realized that ganache was not a Hindu deity -- all those wasted years! Thanks for suggesting coconut milk as an alternative to cream. I just tried it in the thick, sugar-free ganache that I eat as fudge. (I'm diabetic) So silky smooth and delicious.

I'm making these up as truffles for my daughter for Christmas. Only I'm making a variation on the theme. I'm using dehydrated heavy cream powder and rehydrating it with hot coffee. Then I am mixing it with her favorite white chocolate. I think she will LOVE it.... Later: I used half hot coffee cream and half white chocolate like instructed, but it looks pretty thin. I'm going to refrigerate it and see if it gets thick enough to make balls. If it doesn't, I'll reheat it later and add more white chocolate.

I love that you're using the chips to make it. So many recipes I've seen ask for you to use the baking bars. That can get quite expensive. Thanks for the video. Now I'm off to watch the eclair video... 😋

Thank you for saving me some $$. I came across a cook book that I adore but the author says that I can only use heavy cream. But the price of heavy cream has gone sky high. I love the fact that you can use coffee. I'm trying a new cake recipe tonight and making the coffee ganache....thanks to you! I just found you and totally love your style!

Choc- Mint Ganache: Bring the cream to a boil in a pot and throw in some mint leaves. Take out leaves. Put in choclate and wisk together your pro mint ganache 😎 boom all friends and family impressed

@@Antonetish Make your ganache according to the video instructions. Cool to room temperature. Whip it with your mixer and it will fluff up into frosting!

I made this using 1/2 cup of half (that's all I had on hand) and half and 1 cup of chocolate chips. Turned out great for me. I used on a one layer cake.

Thank you for putting the ingredient measurements right at the beginning. I've had to click through so many videos with dead links and no ingredient amounts in the video or the drop down. Edit: Welp, I ended up with chocolate milk. 😂 Thankfully I grabbed a second bag of chocolate, I'm just going to dump it in and see if that fixes it. Edit 2: it was a success! I glazed a chocolate cake with it and stuck it in the fridge and it came out so good! Next time, I'll know how to properly make ganache.

What should be the ratio of chocolate to fresh cream/caramel/Nutella/peanut butter to make a ganache that could be used for frosting? Please reply soon, i m going to try a chocolate cake soon.

The liquid will dictate the ratio for how drippy it is. Mix everything together first and if it needs more liquid. If it's too thick add more cream. :)

This is amazing. I am not a confident cook, but I like experimenting. i was recently gifted two bags of Godiva bittersweet chocolate and this video made me excited to play with them! Anything with two or three easily found ingredients sounds good to me! From there, I can get more in in inventive and crazy, but simple first!

I use a cream-based ganache with very dark chocolate (70% cacao) on top of a chocolate cheesecake, it's great!

I tried with coverture choc. I put a bit of milk while it was melting then went rock hard. I lost it. Can I use coverture with it method. Or just normal cooking choc. I’ve been told there is a difference. You have the best channel on you tube. Keep making videos. I lovem. In Australia we still have lockdown. So we are enjoying baking 🏅🏆🍺

I’m making a red velvet cake and I want to do a white chocolate ganache between the layers of cake. Can I use that on its own? Or should I use the cream cheese frosting in between with the ganache on top of that?
