My husband is on his second shot and this drug is I believe causing him breathing difficulties and heart dis arrhythmia. He will discontinue this drug. I hope we get him back on track and wish I knew how to get it out of his system faster.

Statins gave me bad side effects. I switched to Leqvio. I,ve been taking leqvio shots for almost 1 year with no side effects. 2 injections so far. I do get a slight sore arm at the injection site that goes away in 2 days. I am a 76 yr old man. I pay nothing because it's given in a dr's office. My insurance pays the whole bill. It is not a drug store item. 6/22/2023

I took statins for years until I noticed regular pain in my feet, legs and overall muscle pain. I’m considering taking LEQVIO, but I’m worried about the side effects of this as well. Since it’s an injection, I’m a bit worried. Long term results still not available because it’s relatively new 😯

Diarrhea, sometimes explosive, stopped taking this.

Long term and CV outcomes studies are underway. In all LDL-C medications, the lowering of LDL-C leads to cardioprotection. Leqvio does the same, but with only two injections per year and without the usual side effects of statins.
