So true! I have my textbook fro 1985 and little has changed (except they now add pictures in textbook...but little of the explanations have changed!)

I get confused on why the method 1 for the 100,000 portion payments you use annuity due then calculation the 58,000 for method 1 you switch to ordinary annuity.
