How long can you store it for?

Quite a long time, if you used sterilised jars and stored in a cool dry place it could last years but best to try it before using in case it has turned acidic.

When you put the jars in the pan the water has to be hot?

@@marilinperezcabrera5077 ensure your jars/lids are sterilised and still warm before filling with the sauce, then place into boiled water for the water bath.
