Running from the impressive Oswestry station (even under scaffolding), to Weston Wharf, Kitson and Company 0-6-0ST Works No. 5359 of 1932 0-6-0ST "Austin I", visiting for the summer from the Llangollen Railway, is seen hauling the days steam hauled passenger services.
Class 73 E6036 "City of Winchester" is captured at Oswestry on shunt release duties, with no run round currently possibly at Oswestry.

My late grandparents lived in Llynclys and their house was next to the old station. Many memories as a child/teen walking those lines up and across the crossing to the current terminus and the other way up to the quarry, and also of skimming ballast on the lake 🙂 Great footage, so glad the railway is steadily growing and enveloping.

Wow you've done so much since I last visited before COVID, I rode in the brake van up and down the line pulled by a little saddle tank, I'll have to revisit soon, great work everyone J
