Preserving Schlitz Brewery's history

Does anyone who toured any of the Schlitz breweries back in the day recall receiving the free box of miniature Schlitz, beer bottle, salt & pepper shakers after the brewery tour? I still have a set from one of those tours at the flagship Milwaukee brewery from so many years ago.

I had those when I was in 4th grade. I took them into show and tell at school. My mother thought that was hysterical because I was fortunate enough to be a well traveled child. Milwaukee was about an hour away from our home. We got little mugs of rootbeer at the end of the tour.

@@agateanne6384 Nice "show and tell" story from the past! I too remember getting the mug of root beer at the end of the Schlitz brewery tour in the hospitality beer hall that Schlitz had.

Just like Milwaukee Schlitz has lost it's gusto.

It was a great beer until they fucked it up in the late 1960s by changing the ingredients
