When I get my next truck, I am going to have to decide if I want to add a CB to it. I'll have a 2M/70cm rig for sure, but not everyone on the 4WD trails has a ham license, so having a CB in the truck would be handy.

Wow Ape you just sent me back to the CB boom days when propagation was hot around 1977 and I had a President Grant am / ssb radio. That was what finally got me serious about learning morse code and finally getting my license in 1982. Thanks for the memories my friend! 73, KF6IF

I just bought this Adams CB on recomendation of a friend. I like it because of it's compact size. I wish I would have viewed you review prior to buying it ,I could have saved $5 with your link to buy it for $59. Thanks for the review. I like to avoid reading the instructions. I would like to know if I need a SWR Meter with this radio?
