Everything was going topsy-turvy in the 60's with Lyndon Johnson and then along came Nixon with high gas prices, long lines at gas stations and high food prices, and the inflation ran all the way thru the 1970's, and neither Nixon, Ford or Carter did, or could do, anything about it. If Trump had been re-elected, inflation would have been with us through all 4 years under Trump. And inflation may be around for another 4 years and the only way to stop it is an economic recession.
