I am not sure that everyone would pardon their 54 year old son. There's a STRONG case to be made that the most ethical, moral, and loving thing a parent could do is to support their children AS they face the consequences of their actions.

I would not. Not even at 24. They need to learn at that age or they never will. That does a child no good.
@billalexander9497 сағат бұрын
You are the first person to state that correctly. That's what my mother and father did when I was young. They sat me down and told me, son if you get yourself into any kind of trouble and get yourself arrested, we will continue to love you and come see you in prison. But we will NOT do anything to help you escape the consequences of your actions. It was a sobering conversation. My father was a police sergeant and I knew he meant every word of it; my mother was in full agreement. I got arrested for an unpaid ticket several years later and spent a couple of hours in a jail cell. I did NOT call my father; I faced the consequences and paid my fines. Never wanted to experience that again. By the way, I retired from the police force several years ago.

@chaleechillout- if he did vote for Trump he was afraid of the women on the view because he said he wasn’t voting for Trump.

A lot of rich Dems voted for trump because of the tax thing. They ain't gonna admit it, but folks act on their wallets and pocketbooks and Biden and Kamala talkin bout taxing them rich folks fairly. Trump didn't win by that landslide with just the maga vote. Think about it 🤔

I’m tired of hearing that hunter being a recovering addict should get him some kind of special treatment. If that were the case we should pardon half the criminals in this country

Well, when Joe pardons his brother that will come as no shock either

If that's the case, why hasn't he done it simultaneously with his son? He has just over a month left of being president.

My mother always taught us "truth is truth no matter what!" You have spoken the truth no matter how it hurts! Hope there be a reckoning by the Democratic party with all that has transpired😖

Him being an addict had nothing to do with him being able to pull millions and millions of dollars from shady foreign entities while producing nothing. Most addicts are on the street. Its all about the power and corruption of selling your country in the name of the big guy.

Anyone who thinks it's okay to pardon a family member is choosing family over country. We should agree on that
