Just looking at the waveform, that Digimic appears to have a broader frequency response over the stock mic!🤠👍

I couldn't tall much difference on the LSB test , but on AM, to me,the stock mic sounded the best.

When you did the first review of the new mic I don't think I liked it however I think it sounds a little better in the last two videos you made.

I think I'm with Dirty Diaper on this...that the stock mic sounds ever so slightly clearer and crisper. What setting did you have the NRC on on the Digimike

NRC disabled on all radios tested. When doing the audio test (using headphones ) the stock mic was louder and possibly a bit fuller in sound however the DIGIMIKE was more detailed and cleaner... IMO

What should the mic gain be set at with the Digimike on the McKinley?

11. JK... I set mine 2/3 to max. 2/3 in the mobile with no NRC and full gain when using on the base. Zero reports of being too loud or over modulated.
