Funny thing about the terrorist at 1:10: That guy was in the show Friends as a dry cleaning store owner. Joey goes into a dry cleaner and asks the guy to put his picture on the celebrity wall, but he wouldn't because something Joey had starred in was offensive to his people, Russians. So Joey makes a comment that he has Harrison Ford's picture on the wall and in the movie Air Force One he kills a lot of Russians. To which the guy replies: "I never saw it." lol

This film would pretty much be an intense negotiation film on Rammstein’s runway if the pilots followed proper procedures and killed the engines as soon as the wheels hit the runway. Apparently in the event that AF1 gets hijacked the pilots will land and pull the engine’s fire extinguishers which basically kills the engines (literally the whole engine will have to be replaced if they wanted to take off again) therefore the plane would be stuck on the ground in Rammstein.

There's a lot of things they can do to brick the plane. Pull the fire handles will brick the engines. Without power the pilots can still brake using the accumulators. There's really no reason why the plane kept rolling on the runway after touchdown, but movie logic.

It's much easier to armchair quarter back when you don't have a gun pushed against your body, we have no idea what the actual protocols are since im sure they are highly classified.

@alje311 that's why the pilots are air force colonels and not any civilian airline captain... there must be a protocol in place to brick the plane. Or they could just jump Gary Oldman at the door, there are 4 of them in the cockpit (2 pilots, flight engineer and navigator) after all...

@@yatsumleung8618 well Oldman and his crew had rifles and pistols, the AF1 pilots appeared to have been unarmed so jumping them is out of the question and a good chunk of airline captains are former military pilots. Many choose to leave because airlines are much better paid.
