I remember this day so clearly. It was one of the Coldest days in the District of Columbia and yet people refused to remain at home to miss this event!! I came up the night before from Fairfax, Virginia to spend the night with friends who lived just walking distance from the Capitol. The USA never felt more Safe, with true feelings of brotherhood then on this Day. With the size of this crowd, there was absolutely No negative incidents. People were polite and accommodating. I had Never seen anything like it in my life nor since!! It was a truly "Wonderful" feeling!! :-)

IXM360 Sorry, but I can't agree with that. Many circumstances beyond someone's control would make them miss the inauguration, even when living right there in the immediate area. The cold that day was absolutely fierce!! Anyone with any type of heart or respiratory problems definitely should Not have been out there. It takes a lot of stamina to attend these type events involving an Unbelievable amount of walking..

Moto Saint GeeTee Unlike Democrats etc who voted for Obama , majority of the independent, republicans and the democrats who voted for Trump HAVE jobs and are not welfare. We therefore had to go to work, so we can pay our taxes to be given to the welfare dependents. You know what they say give a man a fish..., or teach him to fish... Yes, we don't have the time or energy for riots either, because we work for our money.

@jbar_858 жыл бұрын
May Fair Moto Saint GeeTee what does welfare checks have to do with it? Back then and now, you only have a few weeks to decide if you want to attend and make the flight. No one wanted Trump to win, even he was surprised he did. He got a miracle. He's entering the White House with the lowest approval rating in 40 years they said. So yeah, why would 73% of Americans who don't approve of him, come to see him? 38% of the approving citizens tried to make it. The small crowds were the best he could get. He was lucky anyone showed up to see him.
@motosaintgeetee64648 жыл бұрын

obama was almost a total failure except that he helped elect a real man PRESIDENT TRUMP. OBAMA WAS GIVEN a real opportunity to bring us all together, unlike any president since Lincoln. and unlike the Nazi liberals we conservatives were pulling for him at the beginning but as time went on we saw how he sank into a left wing fanatic. he divided, promoted the assaults on the police , stirred up racial divisions, promoted the degeneratacy , assaulted the business community, supported terrorist by by funding our enemies. he immediatedly took the side of the criminal, if he was black, against the police, and when it was proven the police were innocent he never apologized. this was not an honorable man but a political hack of the lowest order. I hope American never elects someone on the falsehood of race or gender,
