You read that article on the NYT that opened with a quote from a podcaster or commentator from Israel posting a video of Gazans out on the beach, and the segment was him saying that "how dare the IDF allow these children to be out in the sun" and how there needs to be "more rivers of blood of Gazans?" Or something to that effect. And apparently... that's not a fringe figure head in Israel. That's a popular opinion. If the year were 1978, the US could have pinpointed the location of the crash site right down to the seat he was sitting in...mountains and fog be damned. We had that region monitored so heavily that if an owl swooped on a mouse in the middle of a lightening storm, the Pentagon knew about it before the owl could swallow the mouse. We would have known that chopper was going to crash before the pilot even had a chance to take corrective action. Too bad Clinton pulled the plug on our eyes and ears...we're still paying for that blunder.
