Or that the regulator would have a percentage ownership of South African Starlink operation. This was a barrier to entry at one time. Believe if this was guaranteed to benefit those who really need help it might change things instead of being grabbed by those who have already enriched themselves at the expense of the poor. He's CEO of SpaceX, a hugely successful astronautics industry, CEO of Tesla, currently the most overvalued company on earth, CEO of Starlink, a pretty good company and CEO of Twitter/X, a company he's running into the ground faster than a toddler tripping over their own feet. Musk is non compliant and thumbs his nose at legal regulations, being a bad boy in business and politics, so with all the BS over-regulation in South Africa it would be interesting to see what comes of this idea being floated by the president though I think it best that Musk stay away from RSA as he is pretty toxic.
