He enriched himself and his cronies with enormous personal wealth. And Mugabe's reign of terror has resulted in his countries destruction. His people had a higher standard of living under white minority rule. This is not a person to glorify or follow as an example. The honor you bestow on this criminal should go to the likes of Tseretsi Khama who took his country (Botswana) from poverty to prosperity, rather than Robert Mugabe who took his country from prosperity to poverty. African countries should put their hands together and learn how to multilaterally develop a non-dependent economic system. This dependent economic philosophy was set in stone by imperialist powers, therefore they should be diminished and re-established in a fashion which favors that of the African continent.
