It's shocking me the idea that at his inauguration he wouldn't have had a microphone or anything and all those people just had to hope they hear him

I was there it was very difficult to hear him that’s why we stood on the roofs to get a better view and hopefully hear him better. It was a reasonably sunny day.

Amazing seeing Theodore Roosevelt this up close and personal. You can see and feel his undying passion and intense personality. There were no brakes in this man. Pedal to the metal everyday.

To see how many people there were back then over hundred yrs. ago......this must be a hell of a crowded world we live TODAY!!!

It's so surreal to know that every single one of these people are gone now, bones turned to dust. One minute they're right there, attending a parade for the 26th president and the next, they're faces known only by passing in a video 100+ years old. Life is too short.

This is great. However, it would be Roosevelt's inauguration speech of 1905 after winning the 1904 election. He did not win the presidency in 1900 but was Vice President to William McKinley. He took the oath of office at Ainsley Wilcox's house in Buffalo, New York on September 14, 1901, following McKinley's death from complications of an assassin's bullet.

Teddy is responsible for the creation of America's National Park System, ergo he deserves credit for aiding in keeping America's nature intact.

Me personally I'm a big fan of Kennedy I always liked him and I think we need another young charismatic leader like him today....just like the jingle ad. Says old enough to know.and young enough to do.

Teddy Roosevelt blew me away when I started reading about him and quickly won my eternal admiration. He accomplished more in any one single given day than any President has or will. He was honest! An Upright Politician who fought for the people over the rich who tried to monopolize markets and squeeze everyone else out. He was the youngest man to ever be President and the whole world needs a Billion Teddys!! 🧸♥️🧸♥️🧸♥️
