I would love to see a Uniden Grant XL with the black face. I've heard that Uniden only sold that radio for Australia. Not sure if that's actually true but I have never seen one here in the USA. Beautiful radio you got there.

Awesome radio ... You got some mega luck on your side finding that one in such good condition. I'm too nervous about buying Stateside, I see so many people here on YT who had vintage electronic items completely smashed to pieces by those wonderful US postal workers. Though, it's the same here in the UK, if it says FRAGILE then they treat it as a challenge. How many times can you throw it on the floor before you hear the sound of something breaking? I got 2 damaged radios that were both marked fragile. Outer boxes have their corners dented in. The radios that were never marked fragile arrived in perfect condition.
