Hi I have bought a 26C and also down loaded Studio One. I am retired person and do not own a personal laptop but use one out of two laptops my son has. Sometimes I get Mac and sometimes a windows 10 Dell laptop. Can I install the free version of both the laptops and whichever is free for me seven my music requirements. Kindly reply soon. I am excited to install it on both.

You can register your interface in presonus website and download the software. I already have the 24c. Just make sure to register the date of purchase to the lastes date possible. Ex: You bought it 3 days ago but you register it like you have bought it today

Curious where you found literature about new converters? To my eyes, audio specs look the exact same as the older usb 2.0 models. Also have the ‘Xmax’ preamps really been improved over the 2.0 models? I’m kind of doubting it, as it looks like a rebranded product with a new port? Not sure though... thanks in advance and great video. I’m waiting for presonus to bring their quantum conversion/preamps to usb format...

Hi, the XMAX preamps are the same as the earlier blue studio models. Our video refers to the improvements in Studio series vs the older products (not the previous blue versions). Hope that helps! The Blue and Black studio versions are essentially the same except the connector and color.

Hi guys I am considering to buy Audiobox96 but what is bodering me is, Can I listen to my play back through headphone or speaker at the same time?. By lowering down either volume to listen each one. plug in to listen from headphone or unplug the headphone to listen from monitor speaker. Secondary: Can someone advice between Studio 24c and Audiobox 96 which one is better. (Hassle free) from unpluging the headphone to listen to monitor speaker. Or once you plug in the headphone it will switch off monitor speakers signal.😯😯 :twisted: 😟😟 Thank in Advance.

I’ve got the audiobox 96 and it’s pretty fast, much lower version than these so I assume these will be the same or better, but I’m looking at reviews because I don’t actually own it lol... I think for playing VST piano live with a mini keyboard or something like that you’ll be fine...

@@veezyfortified232 No problem man, Yes I believe so, at least from my experience, I have noticed a better flow with the power adapter interfaces. I feel I get more out of the interface when recording because the power source isn’t just going through usb to power the interface. I just purchase the 68c, and I am very impressed by the quality, especially for the price.

Hello how to connect 2 1824c's together. using Universal Control 4.1 Connect optical cable on main unit in to second unit out Connect optical cable on second unit in to man unit out I don't think you need both for just recording, but I use both Start computer with both 1824c's connected to usb but turned off. start UC (Universal Control) Start your main 1824c. (note serial number in bottom right-hand corner) mine ends in (8). let light flash red, blue, red, blue. you can wait till the light settles on purple, but I never do. Set main 1824c to ADAT. Start your second 1824c. (note serial number in bottom right-hand corner) this one ends in (4). Both lights should flash for a second then turn blue. Set second 1824c to Internal {I use the serial numbers to keep track of which ones which. in UC} Before you can use both you must set the mixer in UC. From UC click the second 1824c (S#4 for me) {the one set to Internal} the mixer will come up. Set all faders from 1 to 8 to 0db or as close as you can get it, for me it's 0.01 db. [very tedious and a pain in the ass]. And set balances as so: 1,3,5,7. to left and 2,4,6,8. to right. Then in the mix section ADAT 1/2 set fader 1 to 0db. balance left. ADAT 1/2 set fader 2 to 0db. balance right. ADAT 3/4 set fader 3 to 0db. balance left. ADAT 3/4 set fader 4 to 0db. balance right. ADAT 5/6 set fader 5 to 0db. balance left. ADAT 5/6 set fader 6 to 0db. balance right. ADAT 7/8 set fader 7 to 0db. balance left. ADAT 7/8 set fader 8 to 0db. balance right. You should be good to go. Just remember every time you start. Start computer, the main 1824c and let light blink red, blue, a couple times then start the second one.

The latest version of StudioOne 5 Artist *does* fully support VST and AU 3rd Party Plug Ins. This was updated in the new version released in July 2020.

Thanks, I’m guessing that idea backfired on them, having to spend $70 to get the VST expansion caused me to go with a full copy of Ableton, I like StudioOne though might try it again. Wish I could justify Pro tools though.

You had me until you talked about the LED. You only showed the bottom 3 LEDs as working, KNOWING that the top LEDs (Presonus 24 and 26C’s don’t work well. I’ve seen other reviewers showing that they don’t work well. You are shrewd!!😕

The USB C on these ones are just standard 5gb/s so just usb 3.0 speeds. Nothing new under the radar.
