I've been using a gaming mouse for Studio One and haven't had any issues getting them to work. I can't see myself not using one anymore since it makes things a whole lot easier.

Does Studio One support the ability to map scroll wheel options? I'd love to be able to use the scroll wheel or say "SHIFT+SCROLL" for zooming.
@mdhalbrook3 жыл бұрын
Not sure if S1 itself will, but I know the Razer Synapse software will let you use modifiers.
@veenu84743 жыл бұрын
Speaking of mice and scrolling, can you guys PLEASE add an option to increase the scrolling speed in S1, especially on Windows? Or do you know of any software as an interim solution? I recently switched over from Cubase, and the amount of scrolling you have to do in S1 to navigate the arrangement view or the browser is simply ridiculous and my only real problem with S1 compared to Cubase 11.

Just got a naga pro wireless. I followed these steps but Karabiner Event Viewer doesn't read my buttons correctly. I press button 3 and it reads as 4, I press 2 and it reads the same. There are many redundancies. I only have access to 2 side buttons

Hello G Hello Gregor. I am a Windows user. Do I have to use "Synapse"? If so, are you aware of any tutorial videos out there on the interwebs?

Great video, Gregor ! Does anybody know how to apply a smooth scrolling or horizontal scrolling under Windows in SO 5 Professional ? Is a ordinary mouse enough or do I have to switch to something extra ?

Pan with mouse middle click!!!! This obvious and traditional among most competitors feature is still absent in brand new Studio One 6... Will anybody do anything about it?

Hi Gregor, Thank you for all your well produced & always clear understanding tutorials on studio one I switched over when version 2 came out now version 6. This is a bit off topic but I have to ask, what is the make n model of the main video camera you are using in your videos?

I am on Windows. I used to love this Razer but it has some sort of bad reputation about its lifetime. So I now bought a cheaper one by Redragon and it costs like 1/3rd compared to Razer Naga Trinity and also has one extra Key which I have mapped as 'Alt+A'. I just bought (yesterday) the Redragon M901-k2 and it is great so far. The software is not needed once it has been configured because the configuration stays on the mouse's onboard memory.

Hi Gregor, great video as always!! Any chance that you could share how you map out your mouse with Studio One commands? I have a Logitech G600 which I think is similar in design to the mouse you use in your videos so it would be very interesting to see what works for you! Thank you!

I use a Razer TartarusV2 for Studio One, gotta reprogram it because soemthing happened and I forgot to export my binds. Now if I could just figure out a way to use my HOTAS so I don't have to move things around when I go from gaming to editing :D

I've used this type of mouse (currently using the Corsair, easily my favourite) for years in all sorts of programs, It's an amazing productivity tool. A macro keyboard (using the K95 right now) is similarly useful.

as someone who has both the Razer Naga and Logitech G600 i would strongly suggest you AVOID the Naga, the software is limited in its ability to map functions to the buttons compared to the Logitech. Also the Naga has to be online, it won't work offline.
