I wonder if bass sit around thinking about me like I do them- reading books on human behavior, watching other bass that have figured us out on BassTube TV, spending all their bass bucks on how to avoid the hook. Sure would explain a lot... and make me feel less stupid. Yep- I'm gonna run with that....

Definitely my favorite fishing channel on KZbin. All out quality of the video production, but the fishing information is 2nd to none. Keep it up E2

Going fishing tomorrow morning. Been raining for 4 days and cold. Late March 2023. Bought some new baits from Rapala and Berkley. OG from Ott Defoe. Berkley Money Badger and Flickers. I have a Red Colorado bladed spinnerbait with a red skirt. Some flatsides and Wiggle Warts in orange and Red Craw colors. Just going to get out and try some things out. My home town opened up a Shooting range pond two fountains and removed the fences. Many tree lay downs and different kinds of bottoms. Ranging from silt to pea gravel. Shawn.

Indeed a goal of catching a fish in all 12 months and was surprised how active our fish are in January and February. Caught a lot of February buzzbait fish but did most of my damage on the red kicker spinner bait, craw colored plug and jig shallow. Love these OK BASS. I feel like they want to be shallow if conditions allow them to be.

Thank you! Project E is just what I needed. I've always appreciated your honest/open approach. It is phenomenal to see those bad & ugly moments too. Otherwise, younger generations expect only good and give up quickly. You're the best.

That cracks me up to people talk about got to have a boat to fish got to have a boat to fish I have a boat and I fish from the bank also but it is ironic that yes a lot of times when you're in the boat you do end up fishing from the on the shoreline definitely not a requirement though obviously a boat gets you access to fish that not everybody else has got access to that doesn't mean you can't go catch them

I enjoy watching your videos. I grew up in south alabama and fished ponds. I just bought an old champion and am trying to learn to catch bass on the lakes around Owasso.

So hard To use the light line I want here in my Michigan lake because of the pike that are in here too. Those things break the 12 pound flourocarbon easy. But I do use it. And 15 on another rod. I got 20 on my Jigs when deep or cover and 15 if clear

Project E is GOOD STUFF! Thanks for doing this. Question: To what extent are you setting the drag on your baitcasters? It looked like you were disengaging the reel and using your thumb to let the bass take line.
@EdwinEversfishing4 жыл бұрын
fatsideup I do disengage the reel when a bigger bass gets close to the boat with treble hooks. I have the drag set medium to high I guess. I can pull it off but when a bass surges at the boat I like having it disengaged to prevent hooks from pulling out.
