I live in Brighton and love Presqui’le! Hubby and I cycle and hike there several times each week. Hiking is awesome in winter ☺️ In summer, we swim and kayak - lots of nature to enjoy. 💛

You're lucky you're so close for all that nature time! We will have to give it a try in the winter.

I love how you guys go back to the roots and exploring all these amazing campgrounds. Yeah its just getting warm enough in BH for the mosquitoes to start coming out. Mmm lunch looked good. The trails and lighthouse are all great additions and of course it's not Average Tourist video without a brewery visit 😂.

Thank you for sharing. A shakedown trip sounds like a wonderful idea. Presqu’ile PP is on my bucket list. Could you add the dates when you were camping to the show notes. It would give viewers an idea of how the campground is like. Thank you. Keep up sharing the videos. I appreciate them.

Thanks so much for your support and glad you enjoy the videos. That's a great suggestion and I'll add them in future. This was the first weekend in May 3-5, so pretty early!

Awesome as usual! Another great look at the campground and some stuff to check out. We would love to do this eventually. We looked at some smaller campers a couple years ago, but have been putting it off. Now I need to convince our daughter to go. She hates bugs. So the mosquitos would be an instance buzz kill for her. I brought up the idea of going tent camping here soon and I got the "no way" look haha.

Another camping season underway! I’m excited to see what sites you go to this year. Oh gosh, I could not stay that close to the swamp with all of the mosquitoes. They can find me as soon as I stick a finger out the door. And that brewery in Trenton looks great! I would love to try a flight there as well.

I do enjoy your videos, and our first outing this weekend is to Killbear PP. What to take and what you forget is always a first adventure problem but easily overcome for the next trip. Sandbanks is a gorgeous spot, you will enjoy your visit.

It's not just the first trip for me, I'm always forgetting something 🤣 but usually we can make do with what we have so it's never been anything major. Sandbanks was wonderful! Going to have that video out this weekend 😊 Enjoy your camping trip at Killbear!!

Has it been raining there much as well? We have had the wettest 6 months since they started keeping the weather data. Spring was almost the wettest. Only 1965 was worrse... First camping trip is always tricky on forgetting things But it looked like a nice park and 25 looked like a great spot! 😊

I live in Trenton and it’s our closest park. We tend to camp at provincial parks a little further away. It’s a nice park all the same and have to agree with the raccoon situation as one got into our cooler one time stole some food.
@TheAverageTourist7 ай бұрын
Those raccoons are persistent! Darlington is our closest park (we're actually there right now) and agree, going a bit further away is nice, especially if it gets us into more nature with kayaking options.

Nice campground but I wouldn’t want to be near the marshy area. The trails look great especially that you can walk down to the beach. We just did our shakedown camp and ended packing up in the pouring rain- hopefully you had some dry weather for your pack up (though it appears you got some dry weather)
