Presque Isle State Park - Part 1

Presque Isle State Park, Erie, Pennsylvania
In part one I explore the head of the Bay and look for many of the birds found there in the summer. After that I head over to the Waterworks to photograph a family of young Green Herons that nested right off the road. Stay tuned for Part 2 which I hope to post sometime in January.

Thanks Tina and hope you get to visit Presque Isle State Park some day. The kayak I was using for this video I bought from a friend in Erie and just leave it at my fathers home that way I do not have to transport each time I travel from Boston. As for the kayak it's a Lifetime from Walmart but is actually a decent kayak. However I have a Native Watercraft kayak as well which is an cross between a canoe and is VERY stable. If you are looking for a good kayak to use for photography the Native Watercraft IMO is really nice. I have the Ultimate 12 nativewatercraft.com/product/ultimate-fx-12-2/
