As you design the nails by hand how do you manage your stock? For example do you paint loads of nails sizes in different designs and just pick each nail for an order? How long do spend a day painting / designing ?

Heyy so you can definitely make any design you like but some nail businesses do custom nails so you can pick! Personally It takes me about 2- 4 hours depending on the set it's a struggle but I do it for my small business! Hope this helped ! ❤

Question for experienced nail techs!!! I wanna start getting into making my own designs with press ons!(: I've watched a lot of different videos on how you can apply press ons and I've found that a lot of people use gel to stick the nail rather than glue because they last longer that way. That ofcourse means it needs to be cured in order to stick. I have a couple questions. First one being, if I use the gel method rather than glue, will the uv light harm the designs such as the foil and butterfly stickers?? Second question is will the uv be able to cure the gel like it needs to if I have an opaque color and designs on the nail already? Thankyou!! ❤️

You would need to have a clear or jelly design on the part where the nail meets the natural nail bed. The light needs to penetrate the nail to cure and it cannot do that with an opaque nail. However some people who want that more permanent wear like the Apres method, can also use Acrylic to do a similar method. Because acrylic cures as a result of the chemical reaction, it’s not a need for a jelly style and can be done with any press on design.

@@sonicboom5945 nail glue, sticky tabs, nail glue and sticky tab combo, or acrylic method can be done to apply nails of any style. If you want to apply nails with a gel product, the design above the natural nail bed must be transparent so the UV/LED light can cure the product.

You could use normal. It’ll just take way longer to dry. But im guessing it probably won’t take away from the process if you start another set each time you need a layer to dry. So that you can bang em out in setting at a time. Cause the dry time will be at least 15-30 mins so you could start multiple sets in between that time.

How do you measure ur nails for the tips to give out for your customers?

Wrap a piece of tape onto ur nail and mark each end, take the tape off and measure how long the line is in mm, repeat each step for every finger and then check the website, each nail tech has different sizes so check their size chart ❤️

It depends on how long they want to wear the nails. If they use the adhesive stickers they only want to wear the nails for 1-3 days. If they use nail glue they want to wear them for like a a week or longer.

Does your set come with more than 10 nails... some nails may not fit the ones included in the set if there is only 10 nails... what if my nails are a lot skinnier than what you include? So if there is like 14 nails with different sizes, it may give us different size choices than if there is only 10 nails...

Heyy maybe u r not prepping the pres son right after shaping and filing buff the press on and then wipe with alcohol wipes then you can paint the nails! Hope this helped! ❤
