...Vista came out just after 320g and up became the standard...Im not saying it wasnt a huge leap from XP but...its really not nearly as much of an issue as most people act like it is. If you fill your hard drive up at that size, you need to be backing things up in aux hard drive anyway. If its full, you're carrying too many eggs in one basket.

All valid reasons and I applaud you. Thank you. I did not know the numbers. From my own experience, there were no problems because I didnt skimp on hardware. Many people at the time got 1 or 2 gig ram and went on, but I got 4 because I knew I would need it for games and videos. I purchased a middle range system for over a thousand rather than the $700 walmart pc everyone was buying that barely ran, let alone played games. Inefficiencies motter less when your infrastructure is decked out.
