there were so many prizes to list that they ran out of time to say goodbye to the players. :O :)

You can tell that Rod Roddy had quite a mouthful when he described all those prizes she won! I think this was the only time a contestant won a record-breaking 8 prizes on the show in a single episode, including five trips.

Becky should come to Elizabeth Banks' Press Your Luck. She was the $33,000 single day champion when the show was hosted by Peter Tomarken. Can she break the bank again when Elizabeth Banks is the star of the show?

$24,411 has to be the highest amount to finish the game with in a loss...I wonder if Paul passed to Becky when he did possibly because he knew that if Becky whammied, he would still get to play again as he was under the $25,000 limit....

Don’t forget that David had $17k before the whammy. They pretty much had about $75k hit in round 2

It was just as exciting at the end on NBC Version of Card Sharks, hosted by Jim Perry at the time, on November 1, 1978, Norma Brown went all the way in the most exciting Money Cards Round, and doubled her way up to the maximum amount of money possible, which was at the time: $28,800! Jim Perry: NOTHING OR $28,800; Yes! SHE BROKE THE BANK, EVERYTHING!!!!!!! Norma Brown got to return on the next show because NBC did not have a "Money Limit". NBC rules said that champions on Card Sharks can play up to 7 matches/ 7 Money Cards Round!!!

@onnapnewo6 жыл бұрын
jonbateman80 There were five patterns Larson used. 2-12-1-9-4 is the only one mentioned in the GSN special but there’s also 2-4-12-17-8 as Mike Hedrick mentioned above, as well as 2-9-17-8 (both landing in the 500/750/1000+one spin square), 2-13-17-7-4, and a fifth one that doesn’t really use 2 as a trigger point, which leads to square 4 for 3000/4000/5000+one spin.
