You can not do well or suck in a question round and still win the game. Someone got first place in round one without earning any spins in round one, thanks to people passing spins to them. PYL did air on 7/4/1986, a Friday, despite the rest of the CBS and NBC game show lineups preempted for Statue of Liberty 100th birthday coverage. USA aired the 7/4/1986 episode in 1989 and a couple more times perhaps in the 90s but GSN of course hasn't gotten around to picking up the last three months of the run yet.ABC didn't have any game show on the air at that point.

Zach Horan I think which round the question suckage comes in, makes a difference. (Eerily enough, I watched Damon's win right before this.) Because if you blow Round 1 then you can still recover. But take few or no spins into Round 2, and pretty much your only way to win is for your opponents to self-destruct.

What's with the whole, contestants who work for Disney not being able to say specifically that they work for Disney, thing? Is that just Peter being funny with all of them that do, or was there some kind of regulation that did actually prohibit that?

The reason you couldn't say "Disneyland" is Because ABC was owned by Disney, & Press Your Luck aired on CBS at the time.
