This couldn't come at a better time. I've been using pint size jars on the bottom of mine and have forgotten to add vinegar when using it so they're cloudy from water deposits.

Keep an eye on your pot when using vinegar, it can cause cavitation/pitting.

Depends on the store, or country of purchase, but no more than 10$ for enough hardware to do a half dozen trivets.
