Thanks Doug good Video…I have 2 of the same pressure washers I want to do the same thing…3300 psi …2.5gpm..I know the gpa doubles does the psi go up…And how do you hook the water source up to both machines???….That would be a good Video…How to completely connect Siamese washers…do you need to hook up each one to water or can you hook one up for inlet and connect them and one is to the hose wand…Thanks
@PressureCleaningSch Жыл бұрын
PSI won’t go up. You’d need two separate water sources. I don’t have any 2.5 gpm machines to do a video on. Sorry. But any time you Siamese them you need two separate water sources
@robertgraham1821 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the quick response…ok Cool…after watching the Video a few more times you basically explained all…I meant any size gpm doing the actual hook up from start to finish and Show the difference in Flow would be helpful…And I can use a splitter on the hose if I only have one water source from house correct…And If I had tanks I would have to use a Splitter as well or have 2 tanks separate…I just did a job where the house had 2 spickets I could have done this and needed the flow for the Job Big Paver and stone Job…Lesson learned…Thanks for the info!!!Keep on Sprayin!!!

What about the flow restriction of trying to run 17 gallons per minute through a 3/8 hose? For example, a high pressure water Jetter/sewer cleaner uses a half inch hose for a 12 gallon per minute for up to 18 gallons a minute flow. it seems unlikely that you will get a full 17 gallons a minute out of a 3/8 hose.
@PressureCleaningSch7 ай бұрын
I've run 3/8 hose on 16GPm before, but wasn't getting full flow. 1/2" hose being larger will get the full flow.

@@PressureCleaningSch Hi Doug a few Siamese questions firstly do you still recommend Siamesing because I’ve heard that it is hard on your machines. Secondly I have a vrt3 unloader is this a pressure trap unloader or will I need something different if so please recommend. Thirdly can I down stream while being Siamesed, I want two 5.5 gpm machines so would I put a 5 gpm down stream injector on each side of the top of the T on the Siamese hose or one 10 gpm injector at the bottom of the T where the Siamese kit will hook into the single hose your using. Fourthly me wanting two 5.5 machines will mean I’ll have 11 gpm which is a weird number so I usually see down stream injectors, guns,surface cleaners, nozzle tips ,unloaders, etc in either 10gpm or 12 gpm sizes, will I be ok with going with either one of these sizes? I have a 10.5 gun and unloader will this cause problems? Or would even just 10gpm accessories suffice or will I need to find 12gpm accessories. Thanks so much it means the world to me if you get the chance to help.

Siamese comes from Siam, what Thailand use to be called and in this usage a short-hand term of "Siamese Twins" which is an archaic term for conjoined twins. Came into wide spread use because of the Eng and Chang Bunker who were originally from Siam, came to the US as side-show.

Very informative! 👏 I have questions about joining 2 8gpm machines that are both at 3500psi. If I want to run hot water, could I get away with using a single burner unit? And would 3/8" pressure hose hold up to 16gpm @3500psi, or would I have to go up to 1/2" ? It's basically for running 48" and 60" surface cleaners, etc... Thanks in advance!

You need to match the BTU’s of your burner to the total flow you want you could use the one burner but you wouldn’t be able to get the water nearly as hot when running double the flow plus depending on the burner it may not handle that kind of flow period 🤷♂️
