You know mam , I watch your channel for one more reason, I feel through me my mom is watching your channel too who was so fond of learning South Indian snacks and dishes as her children were very fond of it , she used to make awesome chakli and today's vlog just made me too emotional as while watching it I just felt like calling her and asking "Mummy, Do you boil the urad too ? " ( hit me hard that I have lost her 8 years ago and still subconsciously specially during sharing food recipes I go in denial mode and pick my phone to call her ) , God bless her soul and I know she is proud of me that I am learning and showing the same interests which she had and must be blessing you in abundance for sharing such recipes and doing her job ) God bless you mam. She used to make in bulk as she would distribute to her 5 children and her mother's family. May I know how much does this ratio serves in pieces approximately. Thankyou for sharing this and bringing back cherishable memories of my childhood Diwali times .

Does this recipe take too much oil ? Also do we mix this just before making or can be mixed and kept?

Not too much oil. As we deep fry it in oil it will absorb minimum oil. Also no need to rest the dough, make it immediately😊
