People need to learn to bleed the refrigerant out of the hosesand back into the system. Open your high side and low side until the gauges equilize. Then disconnect your hoses. At that point your only removing vapor and not liquid. A 6' hose can hold something like 3oz of liquid refrigerant....in vapor form its an once or less Ultrasonic works great.the leak spot has to have a way to have turbulent flow to hear.....to get around that.....get the area wet with water first. ...it creates turbulence....thats best way....and be weary of certain types of lights that can make "noise"

So when we pressure the test, how do you bring the system? Or just bring it to the low side pressure and look for change over time?

Why does micron guage reads weired when once its turned off on energy saving and when turned on it starts tk drop down to where it wss before rapidly and then finds the actual micron resding but not do it instantly have you guys encounter that ?
