One thing I found out works well with gas station clean ups, once i soap everything down, i let it sit for 10 minutes then i go and brush it all in real good with a huge deck broom, then let it sit for another 10 minutes, then i finish it up with one more light coat of soap to make sure nothing dries up on me then hit it with hot water and boom its good. If there are any areas where the grease and oil are really thick, my guys scrape as much as we can off the surface then start our cleaning
@littlespressurewashing2 жыл бұрын
That sounds like a good method of cleaning . We sort of the same thing by allowing it to dwell for around 15 minutes. It does nearly 50% of the work because the chemicals we use are the best.

Could you have done this with cold water? Or is the hot water necessary because it was so dirty
@littlespressurewashing Жыл бұрын
You can use cold water, I use both and I usually use hot water when cleaning up dumpsters,tough stains,grease spills, and things of that nature. Thanks for the support and feedback.

When you were spraying the chemical down with the x-jet, did you use heated water or cold water? Also what mix are you using? I submitting a tender for some gas stations in Barbados and was looking for some advice
@littlespressurewashing2 жыл бұрын
Cold water only , it gets warm when the water and beads mix and react,I use roughly two to three 12 Oz cups per 5 gallons of water and heave on Dawn for suds and blue extra cleaning action,that’s what works for me.

I know and the bad part is they have a BRAND NEW PLASTIC CART ON WHEELS, but they do not use it because they are too lazy to walk to the dumpster and go pick the garbage up, they would rather drag the garbage across the parking lot and leave it for somebody like me to clean up 🤷♂️ 🤦♂️ This happens at all of the locations usually all the time,this one just happened to be really bad! Isn't it mandatory by law for gas stations to have that cleaned on set dates/when needed?. Dude if i was a customer i'd go "wtf is this?, i'm not driving my car over 10000 layers of spent fuel, washer fluid and oil leaks". Good job but you should be a regular for this station hahaha!.

I will make a video explaining where I think you should be at in the range of price, but you have to understand different parts of the country have different pricing as I’m sure you are aware. A lot of people are scared to give prices because they don’t want competition., I don’t look at anybody as competition only myself as competition to be better each day I always embrace other competitors and try to work with them for the greater calls and bigger jobs but not everyone is like that a lot of people try to undercut I think we should keep our prices up to where they’re supposed to be and work together and give first class work all the time every time. But to reflect on the comment yes, I think I will make a video touching on pricing in different regions of the country. That would be a great video.
