You can thank whoever designed and built that shelter for the recurring business. Something so simple, and yet so important , as overlooked drainage causing an ongoing maintenance nightmare.

Interesting... It's like they installed the panels backwards! (Note that there is no such ridge along the front of the panels.) If they had just turned them around, everything could drain easily off the back...

Every new video, I think that it is a harder job than the last one I watched. This one takes the cake. This job was complex and high risk. The end result was awesome. I hope you made a price adjustment for the complexity of the job, that included your high level aerial skills and the lack of drainage. You can audition for a Cirque du Soleil aerial water act. The construction people or the roof designers were obviously lueless. The brick backwall looks like it could do with a pressure washing, btw.

I think the panels were installed backwards
@robertshrewsbury50672 жыл бұрын
Hmm. Noting: maybe some moss to the back side on equipment; Then, there is no protection to the adjacent property vehicles while cleaning; the back brick has two colors and the lower half may need cleaning. Engineering wise, tipping the roof more wouldn't necessarily help, due to the back lip and no drainage system so far. Someone noted the top panel may have been put on backwards, raised front lip to the back. What I don't see is even if the water is drained off the roof, how and where is it going to be carried away...? Also you seem to have found colored bricks on the top of the brick wall. Just a fun find. Kind of you to wash off the vehicles next door. I've noted that videoing from below can be a nice technique when cleaning things as this bike area, coverings over school play areas, etc. Nice you were able to make this job look good and we got a chance to see you dealing with unexpected variables.

Those came up a treat! What a poor design though. Did the leaves breaking down sitting on the perspex give the red type of algae? Enjoyed the music in this one!

Looking at that structure, a considerable amount of extra work for you because of either a bad design or the installation fitting the roof on the wrong way around, Must be quite demoralising when any chance of a profit slips away because an initial poor construction. Without scaling a ladder there would have been no way to see that fault before quoting.
