Johnny was a brilliant writer. He also wrote a few racy songs like Strip Polka and wrote all the songs to Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

Many thanks. This makes my day. They don't make them like that anymore. The stage set with flowers, the performers (Johnny Mathis' voice is flawless), and the lush orchestra and everything oozes class and lyricism.

I just adore Johnny Mercer and his songs. They are such a precious memory of my childhood and I’ve loved them ever since. The lyrics are so clever and expect the audience to be be up to them, never condescending. And the melodies - gorgeous. And my favourite song ‘Moon River’ - gorgeous
