Kind of an underwhelming event this time. Presto is fine, he just won't be making it into formations for any meta DPS. It will be interesting to see how his affiliation eventually fills out, and having low TOT does mean he is useable for a couple of variants which are pretty difficult for most players. I always forget how much they buffed Vi's support abilities since they aren't positional. Uriah isn't amazing but being part of the affiliation that solves most Strahd variants makes him quite useful. We have a couple more BDS champs coming up in the next few events, too. I'm mostly just waiting to hear whatever they are announcing on Feb 8. Could be a couple of things.

These days I just save electrums between releases to full rare, then Patron chests to full epic. If I didn't Patron I would just bounty contract a lot of event currency and spam their free play to 50 and mass as many of their gold chests as quick as I could. Easy to do in a day, but for recording purposes Patron is faster for me to get right to it. And thanks!

Tyredack is right on saving up electrums. Open them one at a time at the right time. With small speed potions and a lot of bounty contracts you can be full epic in less than 12 hours.

@@tyredack How do you get so many Patron chests? I mean once you've done all the variants, the only way to get Patron currency is through the weekly quests and there is a limit to that.

It is interested. I wondered if they were worried about making someone who was previously Unaffiliated, Affiliated, because of mechanics. But, time will tell.

@@tyredack Remember how they made the Sirens of the Realms affiliation for Vlahnya, Orisha, and Brig. Granted, I don't think that was for mechanics, but I can see it happening.

Honestly he seems a little underwhelming… One thing I’m really not a fan of is his debuff stacking mechanic. The fact that he had a 7.5s cool-down and only targets the nearest enemy makes me feel like it’d be incredibly difficult to ever get 5 on a mob, especially when his base attack has a chance to knockback the one he was targeting behind another one. I get that his ult works with it, but it still feels a little meh without a small AoE to me (though it is pre-stack, so I guess that’s why they made it more difficult)

Yeah, the stacking is a little clunky. If his debuff was reliably able to stack 5 quickly he'd feel a lot better.

He's not the first champ to have "stacking" debuffs with slow attack and no way of spreading them. I really don't like it when they do that.

Happy this group is finally appearing. But, pres to doesn't currently fit in the formation I currently use. Just have to build a team for him, and make use. Has that familiar "early affiliation, doesn't fit well" vibes, for now. 😁

It is kinda sad to see so many new champions fall flat due to the fact, that they share a seat with meta champs. Though that doesn't mean that Presto is a good champion IMO, for now we will have to wait for the other members of his affiliation. As you have stated in your video, he will be strictly used to farm modron components. Great video as always 👍

More options for difficult variants is always a good thing! As far as personal recommendations for that Varaint, I can say the Awful Ones and the Absolute Adversaries will always be great, Awful Ones in particular because Evandra makes them available for any Patron version as well. But there are still plenty of options otherwise depending on your DPS/who you have unlocked.

@@tyredack I am playing normally Artemis, have all champs, but this last variant is pretty hard. With DM someone from slot 11/12 can be unlocked. I tried with Zorbu but it wasn't enough only get somewhere e325 but something like e350 is required. Maybe I should invest some forgings to the guys available for this variants (this will take a while)

I'm glad the modron collection doesn't require that item level investment so he's just useful in that regard.

Raising his cap won't matter when the abiity gathers components so slowly. Unless you run him up front, full time with a lot of speed pots, he's only acquiring a few components a day/run. They even had to drop his acheivent from 1,000 down to 200, as hardly anyone would get it before the event ended.

sorry i have a question, i'm asking to a lot of people if they can help me: i've recently started playing this game and i've got lot's of blacksmith contracts, but i can't use them, infact if i click on one of them the game doesn't show me any of my character. Do I have to unlock something or is this a bug?

I hate to say I have no idea why that would be. I'm unaware of any restriction on using smithing contracts as you should be able to just use them and on any rarity of gear. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

With Nova you have to be sure you take her first spec choice to reach 3 slots instead of 2 to reach Valentine here. And for Valentine to receive Zorbu's Hunter's Pack you have to use her Dexterity Feat. Also, Zorbu grants an additional positional with his Feat "Wolf Pack."

how is Presto compared to Donaar which is a major debuffer in that seat?

Between the debuffers in his seat (Donaar/Talin) he is absolutely the best for raw numbers with that multiplicative pre-stack. Him reliably applying it becomes the clunky issue.

He looks super mid. I like having another "oops all mages" guy a lot but not on Blooshi's seat. :( Decent availability and easy positioning are nice though. His achievement is now down to 200 only which is nice since there's a time-limited quest tied to it.

Yeah, sharing with Blooshi is unfortunate especially when one of his Specializations focuses on magic users and he's in the same seat as one of the very few magic tanks.
