Love what you’re doing, I’ve been watching you since you were the gardener on the Chateau Diaries. I’m Jewish and 77 years old, born just after the Holocaust, and knowing how some Jewish kids were hidden and protected from the Nazis in this very house means so much to me. Because of how crumpling it looks, surprising to hear that the tower is actually mostly at the height it once stood. It's a testament to how despite a lot of the masonry now being more like sand, specially the most exposed parts of the chateau walls. It clearly had been work done conscientiously back in the day and with diligence. Between things like the back Arch still being standing, walls of each wings being still pretty much level to one another, and the turret still standing pretty much where it once was when it had a roof. Astounding! You really found a bit of a gem, lots of love to bring it back from the brink, but you are absolutely doing it!
