Absolutely marvelous film I remember all of them..... Great times when all was not so complicated.

I did my first transatlantic flight from Prestwick on an L-1011 Tristar with American Trans Air, Glasgow Fair 1998. We were heading to Orlando International with a one hour stop in Gander for fuel and buy some great ice cream. Was astonished with the short flight time Prestwick to Gander, 4 hours 15 minutes, then another 4 hours down to Florida. Happy days, thanks for the upload John.

No way! I flew for the first time ever on a Worldways Tristar on July 1st 1989. Prestwick to Toronto. The L-1011 remains my favourite plane!

What a beauty...and a technological marvel for her age (other than Concorde).

A 747 I flew in from here in 89. Very dated plane I thought at the time. Stink of cigarette smoke with 70s decor

The Northwest 747 was a really early bird. Number 27 made in 1969. The nose section is now in the Smithsonian. So cool.

Had my first transatlantic flight to Toronto in June 1982 from Prestwick on a Worldways 707. I can remember the stewardess mopping up the condensation around the cargo door(?) as the plane was climbing!
