Adrenaline Junkies on The Gorge Royale

On this episode, Soul Rafter takes on the Gorge Royale of the Ubaye River in France. The Ubaye River is a popular whitewater rafting destination for French visitors, but the Ex-Infrans de l'Ubaye is only commercially raftable at specific flows. This was just outside those specific flows, which made it pretty rowdy.

Stoked you got out there man! Ex du Bas is fantastic. Nice Fosse de Lion is pretty stout at that level and it wants to suck you all over the place. I loved Mat's barrel roll on La Muraille at the end when you guys were right behind him. Such a fun run!

Definitely happy we got on it! When we saw Matt roll on that one we quickly became concerned for our own safety! Luckily the quick high side kept us from being overturned, but the wave shot us over to that rock. It was a wild ride!
