Love that line down M.L.F. Paddled into your line and then let the current take you down. Made a class 5 rapid look like a class 3. I've seen that section when the water was turned off and it's got a super scary undercut under that enormous building sized rock.

I hope it is okay to ask. What camera was used on 0:44 of the video? It has a really nice look. (I guess a light was used for the talk too.) Thank you greatly.

Yeah totally! It was a Nikon d5500. Nothing special. No light. The sky was overcast so it just was naturally good lighting (and lightning).

Tobin run isn't the hardest class V boating but swims can be deadly. Good to take a drive past after they've turned off the release so you know what you're getting into. Lots of stories about near death experiences on the Tobin run.

Fun times. We came around a bend and on R rt. a bunch of people were panicked on top of and undercut rock. Turns out a kid named Jason was stuck under the rock. Sad as hell to help retrieve him. We were 5 mins behind his boat, which had flipped and poor Jason was the only one to not get left of the under cut. So yea, not the hardest river...but many under cut rocks. Careful on the RF.
