I managed to get mine for like $35-ish off Amazon with Prime shipping and it was partially your review that made me get him. I had the original G1 figure when I was very young and the levels of nostalgia coming off this thing are MASSIVE. The colors are so spot on to the original and I have to stop myself every time I look at him because it's a new figure, not the original. I'm glad I got him but I'm also glad I didn't pay full price as the Legacy version without battle damage is more like when I wanted to have but this guy is my Marvel version for a different shelf.

I leave the back standing leg at an angle in turret mode instead of the 90° straight down, it makes the cannon a lot longer, sleeker, and with a slight upward aim which I like

I own the TR Galva as well, and this one does look good. This particular version is very nice since the colors sets it apart from standard galva, so he can probably act as a Galvatron II. Tho, I'm a bit eh on the proportions. Like, the legs look off somehow, and the cannon is a bit short for my liking. But other than that, I'm just glad that there is an option for a new Galvatron figure with an actual head. Thanks for the review!!

That's actually exactly what I'm doing with my Galvatrons. I have this version of "Kingdom" Galvatron and Titans Return Galvatron (who has gotten a third party helmet, painted treads and will soon get Reprolabels) and they're going to represent Galvatron II and the "original" Galvatron.

I'm likely getting this figure as my movie galvatron until I can actually find a proper galvatron. Fingers crossed its true he's getting a re-release in legacy since I haven't seen any leader class figures in months

I saw the stickers on the shoulder pylons and immediately remembered the look of my G1 Galvatron I had as a child. Maybe you have to be a certain age to fully get this figure.

I like both TR and the Recent Galvatron. My TR I bought the 3D neck joint that makes the transformation possible, removing the stupid spring mask thing. I customized his head and integrated it to the neck joint so he transforms as he should. As for the stories Altmode, I noticed that most people still mistransform him in cannon mode as seen on the package. The shoulder flaps are not supposed to grab the cannon they're supposed to open out to the point that sides. The negative on it for me is that I he cannon is way too large, and the lack of peg change. Also, no wrist rotation and the cover for the fists in transformation. The recent Galvatron is very good, though I don't like the head crown and face. It's too bland, and I think that if the design on the TR one could be incorporated to a head sculpt it would be awesome.

Y'know, I honestly wish that they went the full 9 yards and gave us a proper toy colored version of this figure with the gray forearms and maybe a toy accurate head. This is more of a Marvel Comic Galvatron, which is still nice, but I just prefer the gray forearms is all.

I have the regular Kingdom one with, thankfully, correct shoulders! He's easily one of the favourites out of my whole collection but seeing the purple plastic on this guy, Kingdom Galvatron in that would be perfect!

Picked up the Legacy release in January, and personally think it's the best a mainline Galvatron has ever been. The TFU one was an absolute travesty, and disappointment enough not to even bother with. This mold however though not entirely perfect gets a lot of it right with the bot mode, transformation, and alt mode. Articulation also a plus though that molded Matrix of Leadership still looks pretty awful.

I just got this figure last week. I like the stickers but they really suck. I’m thinking of metallic paint for the silver parts on the head and the red on the chest. Idk what to do about some of the other areas. The only ones that aren’t curling are the lights on the chest and the con symbols. This mold is the perfect Galvatron. I would not have gotten this had I lot loved the WFC version. I’m calling this one Galvatron 2.
