I looked up and it says Abrams tanks have a plow to clear the way of mines for other vehicles to follow, but not sure if that means they can just 'barrel through'. Mines have been the main problem slowing down the counteroffensive. Too much time was spent deciding what to send and it gave the orcs time to set up too much defense.

I already wrote under some videos that I am from Ukraine. So today, they beat not only in Odesa at night. I live far from Odessa, about 250 kilometers (convert to miles yourself), the city where Zelenskyi was born - Kryvyi Rih. It's like it's personal for them. There were also missiles and drones. 3 times heard the jet roar and explosions, even saw a crack in the bottle when I was smoking. Then I counted the distance like lightning, when I heard an explosion. Well, everything is whole, so everything was knocked down and it's good.

The Abrams tank can also run at 45MPH for almost 125 miles on flat ground (it's capable of 60MPH but the engine is governed to keep from destroying the transmission/tracks/crew lol). Since it's turbine driven it's always running - just a gear change, going faster doesn't burn any more fuel than going slow. The bonus is that it has a jet like exhaust behind it which means that yeah you can't really hide behind it but if someone tries to creep on you they'll get cooked. And of course all the best tech is available on the Abrams platform...but with that they're also super expensive per unit, in hardware *and* training. It's a massive deal for the US to commit these resources; very much so.

All these delays and concern of "escalation" or Ukraine using western weapons on civilian targets. When in reality, in the last week or so they've struck two warships, a dry dock, a military airfield, and a naval headquarters with the modern cruise missles UK and France provided. Can we start sending more modern weapons to help them actually end this war without all the delays now? Just imagine what a better place they would be in if they had F-16s, HIMARS, Strom shadow missles etc. Early on in the war.
